About the Talk:
This webinar will introduce the fundamentals of quantum computing – qubits, gates, circuits, and quantum cloud platforms – and then dive into practical experience with quantum software systems and frameworks for application deployment and resource management in real NISQ environments. Dr Nguyen will conclude with open research challenges and insights from Australia’s National Quantum Computing Testbed (NQCT).
About the Speaker:
Dr Hoa Nguyen is a Research Scientist in the Quantum Systems Team at CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency. He holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne and a BSc & MSc from VNUHCM-UIT. His research sits at the intersection of quantum computing, AI, and cloud computing, with over eight years of teaching experience in Vietnam and Australia.
