Abstract
Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines are fundamental components of modern software development and deployment processes. However, configuration errors in these files can lead to system failures, service disruptions, or serious security risks. Recently, large language models (LLMs) such as GPT, Codex, and CodeBERT, DeepSeek have shown strong potential in detecting and automatically fixing errors in source code, including DevOps configurations. This seminar presents a survey of research and tools that apply LLMs to fixing IaC and CI/CD configuration errors, classifies the main approaches, evaluates their advantages and limitations, and discusses current challenges and potential research opportunities.
Short Bio
Uyen Do received an Engineering degree and a Master’s degree in Information Security from the University of Information Technology (UIT-VNUHCM) in 2020 and 2024, respectively. Now, she works as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Computer Networks and Communications.
